They work on a “no win no fee” basis, which is a lifesaver if you’re going up against big organisations.
Plus, they only represent claimants, never the police or authorities. We appreciate this since it removes any doubt about divided loyalties.
Kevin Donoghue, the lead solicitor, came up a lot when we spoke to clients. He’s skilled and knowledgeable, but also compassionate and patient.

We kept hearing good things about their conveyancing work, especially when Stephanie Williams is involved. Clients say she’s fast, organised, and calm under pressure.
In one example, she emailed important certificates to a client within half an hour to stop a deal from stalling. That’s the sort of quick thinking that can save you from a panic.
The firm also seems to have a culture of sharing knowledge across departments, which matters more than people realise. When different legal issues overlap, having lawyers who can collaborate makes a difference.

We found their location to be one of their strongest assets. They’re just right next to Liverpool’s Business and Property Court.

We also liked that they work with both companies and individuals. A business could use them for lease negotiations or HR compliance, while individuals could hire them for personal matters like wills or probate.
We heard standout praise for Elsa in the conveyancing team. Clients describe her as proactive, patient, and excellent at explaining each step in plain language.
Unfortunately, not every experience was smooth. We also heard feedback describing slow communication and long delays. In one case, a transaction took seven months despite being relatively straightforward.

However, not all feedback was positive. We came across a former client who came to them with a domestic abuse case. She was unhappy with the advice, conduct, and response times.
So, while they might excel in other legal areas, perhaps domestic abuse isn’t really their strongest suit.

One of their strongest points we noticed is their personal approach, and clients back it up.
For example, a client shared how David Speed not only notarised their documents promptly but also personally walked them to the post office because they were unfamiliar with Liverpool.
That level of service goes well beyond what’s expected from a solicitor. Their genuine care is something we really appreciate as a team.
In compensation claims, clients mentioned feeling supported throughout. David and Morgan (David’s secretary) were described as professional, approachable, and efficient.
