5 Best Coworking Spaces In Glasgow to Help You Find Your Ultimate Desk

  • Workspace Flexibility: We looked closely at the variety of membership plans each location offers. A great hub needs options for casual drop-ins and full-time dedicated desks.
  • Community Vibe: Working alone gets lonely, so we evaluated the networking opportunities and social atmosphere. Spaces that host regular events or encourage natural collaboration scored highly on our list.
  • Amenities and Perks: Fast internet is obviously a given, but we also checked for essential extras like private phone booths and well-equipped meeting rooms. Quality coffee and comfortable break areas were also a huge plus.
  • Overall Value: Pricing needs to match the quality of the facilities provided. We made sure each highlighted space gives you solid value without annoying hidden fees.

1. House of Toad

Website: https://www.houseoftoad.co.uk/

Address: Ground floor & 1st floor 23 Park Circus

Contact: 0141 390 4333

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30 am–6:00 pm

Tucked inside a beautiful historic Park Circus townhouse, House of Toad offers a non-profit community workspace where your membership actually funds creative education and local initiatives.

It’s incredibly refreshing to work in a place that feels like a welcoming home while directly supporting a social enterprise.

I dropped by for a trial day last month, and the collaborative energy in the room was just fantastic. You get to rub shoulders with artists and small organisations seeking real connection.

In fact, I easily found myself chatting with fellow creatives over a morning brew. Plus, the natural light pouring into the West End heritage building makes it incredibly inspiring.

But because the focus here is so heavily geared toward this tight-knit community, you won’t find extensive corporate enterprise amenities here.

Still, for anyone looking for an inspiring, purpose-driven place to set up their laptop, this spot is remarkably hard to beat.

Pros

  • Strong community-focused collaborative environment
  • Inspiring heritage building in Glasgow’s West End
  • Flexible membership and artist studio options
  • Membership directly funds a social enterprise

Cons

  • Lacks extensive enterprise office solutions

Choice of rooms depending on your needs

Spent two days working from this brilliant new co-working space. There’s a choice of rooms depending on your needs – including a quiet space for focussed desk work and a more relaxed living room-like space for chat and collaboration. Plus good music, free coffee, fast wifi and a well-equipped kitchen. Great location too. Highly recommended !

Fantastic office space

Fantastic office space with really friendly coworkers. The staff are amazing as well, Joanna and Leoni really go above and beyond to make sure people are looked after.

The events such as the Life Drawing class is excellent as well. Very welcoming of everyone, regardless of talent (luckily for me!).

Couldn’t speak highly enough of HoT, especially considering how new the space is, and look forward to see what’s coming up in the future!

2. Collabor8te

collabor8te

Website: https://collabor8te.co.uk/

Address: 22 Montrose Street

Contact: 0141 212 6350

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am–6:00 pm

If you need serious flexibility, Collabor8te delivers with memberships ranging from occasional day passes to unlimited access with a registered business address.

They also throw in free meeting room usage and phone booth access depending on your plan. It’s a brilliant setup for freelancers scaling their client base or part-time remote workers.

The community focus really shines through their regular business networking events. Getting to know other local professionals is super easy when the environment is expressly designed for connection.

You’ll definitely feel encouraged to mingle and share new ideas here!

On the flip side, their check-in instructions regarding the access code can be a bit confusing upon your very first arrival. Also, premium features like round-the-clock access are locked behind higher-tier plans rather than being standard.

It’s still a fantastic central hub if you want to grow your local network, though!

Pros

  • Wide variety of flexible membership options
  • Well-equipped space with free meeting rooms
  • Strong emphasis on business networking
  • Convenient day passes for occasional users

Cons

  • Access code instructions can be unclear initially
  • 24/7 access requires higher-tier memberships

Superb co-working centre

I would have no hesitation in recommending this superb co-working centre, which is an extremely modern/comfortable and affordable place to work from. It’s ideal location, has allowed me to offer my services to individuals/businesses which I might have not been able to do, if I didn’t have this space. Members and they’re clients can expect 5 ***** treatment @ Collabor8te.

3. Clockwise Glasgow – Coworking & Office Space

clockwise-glasgow-coworking-office-space

Website: https://work-clockwise.com/locations/glasgow/

Address: Savoy Tower, 77 Renfrew Street

Contact: +44 (0)141 406 1811

Hours: Available 24/7

Clockwise Glasgow stands out by offering everything from hot desks to private offices with absolutely transparent membership pricing and zero hidden fees.

Being able to step out onto their massive 5,000-square-foot rooftop terrace for a quick breather is an unbelievable perk for a city centre location. It’s perfectly situated in Savoy Tower, making it a breeze to reach.

A friend of mine rents a dedicated desk here and constantly raves about the contemporary, modern aesthetic. The communal areas are well-designed and make taking a casual screen break actually enjoyable.

However, the actual workspace areas can feel slightly smaller compared to some of the sprawling industrial hubs around town. It also gets pretty busy during peak hours, and local parking options are definitely less than ideal.

Despite that, the rooftop views alone make it totally worth considering.

Pros

  • Transparent pricing with zero hidden fees
  • Massive 5,000-square-foot outdoor rooftop terrace
  • Modern facilities and attractive communal areas
  • Very central location with strong transport links

Cons

  • Workspaces can feel somewhat cramped
  • Convenient parking options are limited

Top notch team who run it

Clockwise is 5-star! At the GGC we run some of our co-working events in Clockwise and our members absolutely love it too. Comfy chairs, good coffee, great wifi, always spotless and a really good community feel and top notch team who run it. Highly recommend x

Contact: 0800 038 9797

Hours: Available 24/7

For those demanding top-tier connectivity, Cubo Glasgow provides enterprise-grade 10Gb internet alongside premium coworking access across their entire UK network.

You get round-the-clock entry to high-end amenities like barista-made coffee and beautifully curated community events. This spot is clearly aimed at growing tech startups and established corporate remote teams.

The broad range of setups means you can start with a simple hot desk and seamlessly upgrade to an enterprise suite as your business expands. The environment always feels deeply professional and geared toward productivity.

However, because it positions itself as a premium provider, memberships definitely start at a higher price point than basic budget spots.

If you’re a solo worker just needing a cheap desk for a few hours, this might stretch your budget. But if you value flawless internet and premium perks, Cubo Glasgow truly delivers.

Pros

  • Lightning-fast enterprise-grade 10Gb internet
  • Access to multiple Cubo locations UK-wide
  • Excellent premium amenities including barista coffee
  • 24/7 access included with your membership

Cons

  • Higher starting price point than budget alternatives

Enjoyed its modern amenities

Cubo, our new office space, is a gem. As the first tenants in this brand-new coworking hub, we’ve enjoyed its modern amenities for two months. The innovative setup boosts productivity, while the convenient bicycle shed and access to shower rooms cater to our active lifestyle. The staff’s helpfulness adds to the appeal, making it an ideal workplace for our team.

Plus, being located right in the financial district means you’re just a short walk from Glasgow Central Station.

Still, the exceptional location and polished corporate atmosphere justify the investment for serious professionals.

  • Prime city-centre location near Glasgow Central Station
  • Excellent on-site IT support and infrastructure

Cons

Positive working environment

Both front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They ensured that I am comfortable and get looked after during my visit. When I was there, the management organised some food and beverages to promote networking among the tenants and positive working environment. Keep up the good work and I look forward to my next visit!

Great technology and a lovely big space

I visited Orega on St Vincent Street to look at their meeting room. I was greeted at Reception by a lovely lady named Kat who was very friendly and welcoming. She even offered me a lovely heart shaped chocolate from the reception. I was then greeted by the manager, Judit, who showed me the meeting room and was well stocked, great technology and a lovely big space for 14 people. Judit informed me of the pricing, catering options and the technical specs of the office.

I will definitely be using Orega St Vincent street in the future.
