Over time, I’ve tried tons of spots around London, and I’ve put together a list of the ones I think are the best. I even chatted with a few other customers to see what they loved (and what they didn’t) about each place.

The first thing I noticed when I visited Pure Wax London was how clean and welcoming the place is.
For me, that’s a big deal when you’re about to get waxed. It sets the tone right away.
The staff also have a magic touch. Specifically, people couldn’t stop talking about how lovely Carla and Mia are, and I agree.
They make waxing quick and fun. They even check everything from the wax temperature to your comfort level, so you don’t feel like a human pincushion.
Booking is super easy too. You can do it online, call them up, or just walk in and sort it out. That flexibility is a lifesaver if, like me, you tend to forget appointments until the last minute.
Of course, nothing’s perfect. I did notice that they don’t list prices online, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from their service when I went there.
Thankfully, I’d say they’re pretty affordable. But still, for first-time clients who want to compare options or be prepared, pricing transparency can be very helpful.

Sam, the owner and sole waxer at Waxing London, clearly loves what she does. She’s super friendly, professional, and knows her stuff.
But what really sets her apart is how she explains the science behind waxing and hair growth. I left feeling like I understood my skin a little better, which isn’t something you get at most waxing spots.
Her waxing technique is also painless. I’ve heard from her past customers who had thick hair or low pain tolerance, but even they left smiling.
Everything is super transparent too. Services and prices are online, so you know exactly what you’re signing up for.
She does everything from facial waxing to full legs and even men’s waxing, like chest and back.
The only thing to keep in mind is that Sam’s the only person there. If you’re hoping for a last-minute slot or want a bunch of services in one go, you’ll need to plan ahead.

The technicians are meticulous. They move deliberately, making sure no hair is left behind. Their gentle approach makes even the more intense sessions feel manageable too.
Convenience is another strong point. They’re surprisingly accommodating with last-minute bookings, which is perfect for anyone whose schedule is unpredictable.
However, the studio is small and tucked away. I actually had a hard time finding it. Their cancellation policy is also strict, so refunds aren’t guaranteed if you cancel late.

Luxury Wax Bar has a big team, so you rarely have to wait for the slot you want. Based on the clients, the sessions are always amazing.
The staff are always gentle, professional, and check in all the time to make sure you’re not wincing too much.
One of the best bits? You can view all the services, prices, time estimates, and which aestheticians are qualified to perform specific tasks on their website.
If you find someone you really like, you can request them again. It’s a small thing, but it makes repeat visits feel personal.
I love how, beyond waxing, they also offer luxury extras like anti-pigmentation treatments and UV spot masks for intimate areas. It makes it feel more like a pampering spa than just a wax.
Plus, their waxing package makes regular visits a bit easier on the wallet.
Not everything’s perfected yet, though. I’ve heard from some people that booking via Treatwell can be a little glitchy. There are instances where appointments are duplicated or moved.

Mikki’s Wax Bar is spotless, airy and instantly relaxing. You know hygiene is taken seriously here, and I appreciated that.
But the real stars here are they’re aestheticians. They’re all warm, chatty in the best way, and somehow make waxing feel less intimidating.
Even on sensitive spots, their technique is quick, precise, and low-pain. They pay attention to every little detail and adjust everything to suit your skin and comfort level.
The menu is also massive. Whether you want a quick cheek or something more niche like intimate bum waxing, they’ve got you covered.
For men who want to be waxed, you can also choose what you want from their separate list of services offered.
They also seem to use high-quality wax because a lot of people also mentioned how they left with their skin feeling soft for weeks.
A couple of things to keep in mind: Mikki’s Wax Bar is in such demand. You might need to book ahead if you want a last-minute slot.
