The 5 best life coaches in Newcastle for real-life transformations

Experience and track record: I considered how long the coach had been practicing. I also took note of the practical coaching strategies they employ.

Range of services: I assessed the range of services, including career coaching, confidence building, and personal development programs.

Coaching and support style: I considered whether coaches offered personalised strategies. The level of support, communication, and constructive feedback was also considered.

Pricing: I compared rates to see how clearly the coaches communicate quotes. Flexible packages were also reviewed where available.

Accessibility and availability: I tested how easy it was to schedule sessions. I also took note of available formats, such as in-person and online coaching.

With a life choice, navigating life-altering changes can feel easier. Through key techniques, you may find yourself feeling redirected as you move forward.

To help narrow things down for you, I looked for Newcastle’s most mentioned life coaches. I did some trial consultations and interviewed clients to assess their styles and success stories.

Here are the only ones that made the cut.

How much do life coaches cost in Newcastle?

The cost of life coaches in Newcastle ranges from £50 to £100 per hour for individual sessions. Coaches may offer multi-session packages costing over £1,000.

Website

I checked out Uniquethinking and immediately loved the online and in-person options.  There’s also a free introductory call, which was a nice way to get to know the coach.

Flexibility in options won me over. I loved that there are structured programmes, as well as one-off coaching sessions.

I asked about the structured options and was happy with the system. This one includes 4 sessions that last 1 hour each.

The most unique part, in my opinion, is that programs are targeted towards specific goals. There’s one for rediscovering your purpose, and another to help you through divorce or separation.

I loved the level of accountability too. The coach emphasises goal tracking, so clients can regularly review their progress.

I’ve confirmed with current clients, and they said that goals are refined depending on what’s changed.

I’m just a bit sad that fees can feel too much for most people. This can be frustrating for those who don’t qualify for the fully-funded programme

Pros

  • Qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor
  • NLP, CBT, and mindset techniques
  • In-person and online coaching
  • One-off coaching available
  • Structured programmes available
  • Free introductory call
  • Opportunity for 12 hours of fully funded coaching

Cons

  • Relatively higher fees
  • Fully funded coaching can be difficult to book

I preferred one-to-one coaching, and Jude Daunt was among those who met my criteria. She’s highly qualified too, with over 9 years of experience as a qualified performance coach.

I started with a free consultation. I loved her approach, as she immediately made me feel comfortable with sharing current roadblocks.

There’s also the option to do sessions in person or online.

When it comes to a more structured support, I find their VIP Personal Coaching Experience to be of great value.

This one includes 12 sessions. As I’ve gathered from current clients, this programme was able to work on their subconscious beliefs and mindset barriers.

It also includes a 20-page DISC personality profiling report. I think it’s a nice way to keep clients on track with their progress, and what else to target.

Communication is okay. I was able to reach out via email and WhatsApp fast for additional support.

Just take note that prices are higher for long-term coaching

Pros

  • Highly experienced and qualified coach
  • Free initial consultation
  • One-to-one coaching
  • In-person and online options
  • Complete profiling report
  • Direct access via email or WhatsApp

Great tools and equipment

“I started working with Jude earlier this year and she has really helped me key point and identify the areas in my life that I self sabotage, as well as equipping me with the tools and techniques to overcome my limiting beliefs. I couldn’t be happier with how it’s going, 8 sessions deep, and would totally recommend the investment in yourself to anyone out there pondering whether or not to go for it. Thank you so much Jude, for everything!”

I liked that I had the option to either go in-person or online with Gill Caleary. There’s even a free “chemistry session” that helped me determine whether we’re compatible.

I noticed how highly personalised the sessions were. Compared to others, the program didn’t feel rigid.

She was able to tap into a wide range of concerns. This includes career clarity, overcoming impostor syndrome, and confidence building.

Upon inquiry, I found that Gil also accommodates corporate teams. This makes her a flexible choice for a wide range of needs.

I had to interview clients to assess long-term results. I was happy to find out that most of them had satisfactory experiences.

To sum them up, they saw better self-belief and life direction. One client even added more sessions in the program, as they felt supported in every stage.

The only thing to take note of is that rates are higher than most.

  • Master’s Degree in Coaching
  • One-on-one coaching session
  • In-person and online coaching
  • Free chemistry sessions
  • Deals with a wide range of concerns
  • No upsell-driven packages
  • Offers corporate coaching

  • Relatively higher fees

Facilitates growth and gives space

“I worked with Gill for over 7 years and feel like we developed a ‘real’ understanding of each other. Always facilitating my growth whilst giving me the space to find my own way. I value her advice and courage to stand up for what she believes in. Gill has often been my coach and mentor on (and off) the clock but now our employment relationship is over, I can actually call her my friend.”

Great knowledge and expertise

“Full disclosure – as well as being a paying client I am Gill’s partner. I have witnessed Gill’s 3yr journey to achieving her Masters Degree with Distinction in Coaching.  I have seen the huge amount of work required to complete the degree and therefore know very well the depth of Gill’s knowledge and expertise in coaching. I also know she’s been doing this stuff for decades in her senior corporate leadership roles. She’s the real deal and as such I pay her to coach my own team in my roofing business and it is the highest ROI money I spend anywhere. I have become a huge convert to coaching over the last 3 years and use more than one coach myself as part of my own ongoing personal development work. Getting a coach is without doubt one best things you can do for yourself and I would highly recommend Gill as a great coach who really knows her stuff.”

Sage Therapies, led by Sam, impressed me with solid experience. Sam brings over 25 years of coaching experience and is a qualified breathwork facilitator by the GPBA.

I loved that she covers a wide range of areas. She assists with trauma recovery, emotional resilience, and women’s empowerment.

Another plus is that she offers several wellness pathways. Clients can choose from hands-on therapeutic treatments. Breathwork sessions, or her EmpowerHer programme.

Speaking of which, this program offers an in-depth approach to coaching. According to the coach, this helps rebuild self-worth, establish boundaries, and create lasting emotional change.

I also noticed how attentive Sam was as a coach. She was intuitive and was able to create a safe, nonjudgmental space.

According to clients, they experienced a life-changing impact.  The subconscious reprogramming and trauma-informed coaching were able to boost their self-perception.

As with other coaches, the only thing missing for me was upfront prices. At least, she offers a complimentary 15-minute consultation.

Pros

  • Over 25 years of experience
  • Postgraduate certificate in coaching
  • Licensed trauma coach
  • Qualified GPBA breathwork facilitator
  • Wide range of options
  • Reflexology treatments available
  • Complimentary 15-minute consultation
  • In-person and online coaching

Cons

  • Pricing not stated upfront
  • Requires consultation for more info

Genuine care and ability to truly listen

“I feel incredibly lucky to have been introduced to Sam at Sage Therapy a few years ago and always look forward to my next appointment. Her intuitive touch, genuine care and ability to truly listen make every session feel completely tailored. I always leave with real physical relief and a sense of calm that’s genuinely good for the soul. Sam feels as much like a friend as she does an exceptional therapist. Thank you Sam! Mel x”

Incredibly highly skilled

“Sam is not only incredibly highly skilled at what she does, but is also very lovely, warm and genuine in the process. She ensures she creates a comfortable space for any needs and pays so much attention to the needs of my body, that the treatment has felt different each time! I am very glad I found her.”

5. Encourage Coaching

Location: Northumbria House, Gosforth

Contact: +44 7378 821182

Website

I liked Encourage Coaching for their specialisation. Their services are designed to support people who are overwhelmed by modern life pressures, such as stress at work, handling mental overload, and managing a lack of direction.

Encourage uses both practical Buddhist-inspired teachings and modern productivity techniques.

I value this because it combines mindfulness and self-awareness with tools like goal-setting, habit tracking, and routine planning.

The systems for change are simple. I prefer this over those with complicated frameworks.

It seems that clients agree with me, too. Many of those I interviewed said they gained clarity, improved their habits, and managed their anxiety – outcomes that are usually only possible with expert psychologists.

The place is also one of the few that are actually upfront with their pricing. The best part is that the sessions are priced competitively. For example, a 60-minute coaching session costs only £70.

The 30-minute catch-up sessions are only £35.

Just take note that there are no in-person options. They may also be limited in terms of long-term coaching packages.

Pros

  • Combines Buddhist wisdom and productivity
  • Solid record of improvements
  • Practical and useful techniques
  • Well-broken down sessions
  • Individual sessions available
  • Competitive rates
  • Catch-up accountability sessions
  • Easy to book

Cons

  • No in-person sessions
  • No long-term coaching packages

Compassionate and personable

“Using Mark’s services have made significant positive changes to my life. He consistently goes above and beyond with a compassionate and personable approach. After many coaching sessions with Mark, I have began to notice the improvements in my work and social life that are a result of implementing his practices. I would absolutely recommend Mark to anyone who is feeling like they need some help and direction within any aspect of their lives.”

Nicholas | Googlejust  Review

Passionate with the desire to help others

“Mark never fails to inspire me; his passion and desire to help others and improve their lives is phenomenal. He talks with honesty and authenticity, and offers realistic and practical advice that really does make a difference.”
