The 5 best kitchen renovations in Leeds that go beyond a simple upgrade
No matter what people say, your home absolutely affects how you live. It’s hard to ignore creaky floors and outdates spaces.
So it’s very understandable why people go all in on renovations—whether that’s reworking the garden with some fresh landscaping or calling in a masonry contractor to sort out the bits that have clearly seen better days.
Strangely though, the kitchen doesn’t always get the attention it deserves. Yes, it’s not seen from the outside but it’s one of the most used spaces in the house.
So if you’ve ever stood in your kitchen wanting for it to be better, we got you. We’ve taken a look at some of the best kitchen renovations in Leeds, so you’ll know which teams to call!
How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Leeds?
A kitchen renovation in Leeds typically costs around £4,500–£10,000 for a basic update. It can cost up to £15,000+ for high-end or fully bespoke designs.
1. Four Seasons Kitchens

Address: 149 Street Ln, Roundhay
Phone: +44 113 294 1414
Business hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Four Seasons Kitchen has a two-tier setup: design-and-supply and fully manages install. This makes them super flexible!
Based on feedback, though, we found out they really shine most with full kitchen renovation projects where they can control the outcome from start to finish.
They’re great at maximising space and making smaller kitchens work harder. So even when the space is small, the ambition isn’t.
Clients have also mentioned that they have multiple trades, like installers, decorators, project managers.
Most importantly, they all aren’t disconnected. We’ve heard of instances where the team steps in quickly when issues cropped up during installation.
The workmanship is also impressive. Installers are thorough, tidy, and detail-oriented. They’ll even leave the place clean and finished after getting the job done.
Now, the reality check. This isn’t a budget kitchen company. They mostly target homeowners who see their kitchen as a long-term investment rather than a quick upgrade.
They’re the best decision we made!
“We used Four Seasons Kitchens after being recommended by our architect Abi Tice and it’s the best decision we made! Donna was excellent from start to finish in designing our kitchen and utility room. Donna’s creative vision is excellent. Four Seasons have an excellent range of designs and colours. We wanted a primarily green kitchen and they had a wide range of different options…”

Caldaire is something you might need if you want a German or British-inspired kitchen that feels designed around your home. They sit comfortably in that mid-to-high-end sweet spot too.
The best thing about them is they have control over the whole process. They handle design, supply, and the messy reality of installation. For clients, this removes the unnecessary stress.
One story that stuck with us was a full transformation of a 1950s bungalow kitchen. The client highlighted how Darren actually reworked the layout to maximise space. He also gave practical advice and handled unexpected issues without making it a drama.
Based on feedback, we figured that they really listen. Multiple customers mentioned that they got what they asked for, but refined.
Price-wise, they land in a reassuringly normal range for the level they operate at. Their quotes are in line with others. We also loved that everything on the quote is listed for that layer of transparency.
Just remember that painting and decorating isn’t included. They can arrange it, but that also means additional cost.
Communication was great throughout the process
“Darren and his team did an amazing job fully remodelling our old and outdated kitchen. They were right on schedule and communication was great throughout the process. There were some tricky elements to our kitchen and Darren was able to sort everything out seamlessly. He has been trustworthy and straightforward from beginning to end and also offered us great design/functional tips. Our new kitchen is truly stunning and I’m so happy with it. Thank you Darren!”

These guys would be first on my list for any future work
“Darren and team installed our kitchen from an empty shell, replastering walls, boxing in steel beams and providing all new electrical supplies and lighting. This work was all done to a great standard and with very little mess. As you can see from the pics, their install of the kitchen units and accessories was impeccable. The team we had onsite were polite, tidy and efficient and they responded positively to any challenge the kitchen threw at them. These guys would be first on my list for any future work.”

3. Kreativ Kitchens | German Kitchens Leeds

Phone: +44 113 269 2784
Business hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM – 5 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
- Sunday: Closed
If you ever found yourself browsing Pinterest about bespoke German kitchen projects, Kreativ Kitchens is worth calling!
Their work revolves around fully tailored layouts, high-end materials, and integrating premium brands like Bora, Miele, and Siemens.
We really loved their design process. From what we’ve heard, their designers really take time to understand lifestyle, budget, and how the space will actually be used day-to-day.
Plenty of companies can design a good-looking kitchen, fewer design one that genuinely works for how you live.
They also seem strong at project coordination. They work closely with builders and keep everything aligned. Clients also mentioned receiving consistent updates throughout renovations.
We were also impressed with how they deal with complex renovations. They can do open-plan reconfigurations, extensions, or projects where you’re working from architect plans and need everything to come together seamlessly.
They’re more on the premium side, though. If you’re looking for something purely functional at a lower cost, you’ll likely find better value elsewhere.
We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen!
“Highly recommend! After looking at various high end kitchen designers, we came to Kreativ Kitchens following a recommendation from a work colleague. The design created by Daniel was by far the the best we had seen and they came up with a fantastic solution for the the secret pantry we wanted to create. The installation was carried out by Jonny, who’s attention to detail and workmanship is first class. We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen!”

The quality of materials and craftsmanship is top-notch, and the project was completed on time and within budget.”

4. The Kitchen & Bath Co.

Address: Wharfe Place, Town St, Rodley
Phone: +44 113 204 7787
Business hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday to Saturday: 9:30 AM – 4 PM
- Sunday: Closed
The Kitchen & Bath Co. lenas heavily into full-room transformation. We’re talking about layout, storage, materials, and more. The feedback we looked through backs that up in a consistent way!
Clients gives them a lot of credit for patience and design input. In one instance, a customer changed his mind multiple times during a kitchen redesign. Instead of pushing back, Simon (the designer) offered ideas and refined the plan until it worked.
This shows that their process isn’t rushed at all. They’re ready to invest their time to satisfy their clients.
Storage design seems to be one of their strongest cards too. A lot of people were downsizing or struggling with space. Somehow, the team ended up making their kitchens feel bigger, even when using darker finishes.
We also noticed that their designs are cohesive. For those who want everything to exist in harmony, they’re great at that.
However, there’s at least one account of a missed appointment with no follow-up.
Cannot recommend this company enough
“Recently bought a new kitchen from The Kitchen and Bath Co. We had an awkward sized room but unlike other major showrooms we visited they went over and above sourcing the sizes we needed at no extra cost. Talking of cost, they outperformed Wren, Magnet and Howdens for a like for like kitchen. We went for painted doors and they look beautiful, much better than Howdens laminate doors. Cannot recommend this company enough from purchase to fitting”

I am thrilled with the final result
“I recently had my kitchen redesigned by Hannah at The Kitchen & Bathroom Co. I was impressed by how she took on my comments and incorporated her ideas into the design, making sure that the final product was exactly what I had envisioned. Under Hannah’s stewardship, the installation process was smooth and efficient, and she was always available to answer any questions I had. I am thrilled with the final result and would highly recommend The Kitchen & Bathroom Co. to anyone looking for a high-quality kitchen design and installation service.”

Kitchens by Design has a very impressive design phase. Their process is hands-on and very thoughtful, as what clients said.
Even those with spatial problems, they know how to deal with. One client even shared how Scott’s ideas actually improved both their kitchen and bathroom layouts beyond what he had initially imagined.
On the product side, the quality seems to hold up well. The company offers full upgrades, including doors, worktops, and even appliances.
It also helps that they’re partners with leading appliance brands! This shows they’re not cutting corners where functionality is concerned.
It’s not all perfectly polished, though. Their communication can get a bit wobbly. A few clients said their responses can be a bit delayed sometimes.
