So, over time, I got picky. My trial and error phase was costly, but it did lead me to cleaners that I’m able to trust over and over again for serious cleaning.

My office schedule changes from time to time, so I’m always on the lookout for flexible cleaners. AD was one of the few that could accommodate my dates.
Though I had a bit of trouble contacting them the first time, they’re quick to address the issue.
I hired them for one-off services, and was happy that they arrived on time. All the cleaners were polite and moved with practiced speed around the place.
Once they’re done, I checked hard-to-reach areas and saw that they’re all spotless. My entire floor was polished, the shelves were dusted, and I could almost see myself in the windows!
I paid a good amount of money, though I find them competitively priced. They’re actually among the more affordable options I’ve encountered.
Not one to rely entirely on personal experience, I asked around, too. I can say the majority had a positive experience, as I did.
Most clients actually book them for recurring cleaning.

When I was looking for commercial cleaning services in Edinburgh, I knew I wanted a company that specialises in offices. That’s how Complete Cleaning stood out to me.
I liked that they’re far more comprehensive than most competitors. This happens through their standard office cleaning contracts that include routine cleaning, recycling management, and consumables.
Contracts are flexible. Clients can schedule these services biannually or annually, depending on their needs.
However, I don’t think these offerings are ideal for those who just want one-off services. But they’re still one of my go-tos when it comes to complete cleaning.
Many clients are on the same-page as me. These are mostly business people who prefer long-term relationships and a hands-off approach, like restaurants and hotels.
I also tried some of their specialized services. Window cleaning, steam cleaning, and office chair deep cleaning all met my standards.
In terms of overall cleanliness, they’re consistent and often leave spaces looking brand new.

When not committed to a long-term contract, I often look for cleaners I can immediately call. Diligentia has always been one of those options.
I liked that I can always book them for daily or weekly cleans. I even occasionally hire them for seasonal cleans, which is very convenient during the spring season.
One of the things I loved about them is how fast they work. I noticed that they can easily complete the job between 2 and 4 hours, depending on my requests.
Before arriving, they send reminders via email. I loved this, as it helps me organise some stuff together before they arrive.
Looking at their cleaning standards, they’re highly methodical and detailed. They handle everything from door handles to mirrors. Stairs and upholstery are well vacuumed, too.
There were just a few times when scheduling a cleaning can be difficult due to demand. This usually happens during peak season, so book ahead.

Pixie surprised me in a good way. They’re one of the few companies that go through a consultation process before going through with the cleaning.
I liked the way they handle consultations, too. They visited my office in advance to assess the scope and estimate the required time.
For the cleaning services, they’re quite efficient with time. They managed to deep clean my office in about 4 hours. Some of the clients I spoke to said they took 6 hours.
I loved the attention to detail, though. They even managed to take out some stains and grime that had been on the floor for quite a while.
One thing I noticed was how well they manage the tasks. They worked continuously with no breaks. Members get their own tasks per room, so they’re able to wrap up quickly.
When peak season hits, though, booking a slot can be a bit of trouble. Doing so a week in advance can help.

Bonnie Brooms made booking easy – it took me only about 60 seconds to do the entire thing. Other than this, they’re pretty quick when it comes to responding to inquiries.
Though this varies from time to time, I was actually able to score a last-minute booking. In general, customers can expect to hear back in about 48 hours.
I loved how efficient they are, taking only about 2 hours to finish. And despite how fast they were, they managed to cover all the essentials.
Every surface is wiped. They also cleaned all hard-to-reach areas – even those that aren’t immediately visible to the eye. Every window was gleaming, too, once they were done.
Even the staff impressed me. Normally, crews would just give me a polite smile here and there. But their team was friendly and was pretty chill to chat with.
However, after speaking to some customers, I found out that they can be inconsistent with their cleaners. They also have a few issues with late arrivals.
